MAZDA (Zoom-Zoom) CHALLENGE - INFORMATION SHEET

Tournament Format:

A monthly golf tournament organized for members with golfers being in Flights A, B, C according to their handicaps and the scoring will be based on stroke play. A Special Category Flight will be available to cater for member's guest and this category's scoring will be based on a Modified Callaway System. Participating Winners will be awarded the monthly winner's Trophy plus earning points which will contribute to the winning of the end of year Mazda (Zoom-Zoom) Tour Trophy. A list will be updated monthly from the Mazda (Zoom-Zoom) Challenge Tournament to create a 'Mazda (Zoom-Zoom) Challenge ORDER OF MERIT' (note- winner of the Mazda (Zoom-Zoom) Tour Trophy will be the golfer with the most points).

Points allocation during the regular monthly tournament will be ranked from OVERALL Gross Score & OVERALL Low Net Score List (1st to 9th position). Note: From the Overall Low Gross/Low Net List; Golfer who have been awarded Low Gross Points, if he is listed in the Overall Low Net List will be awarded the appropriate Low Net Points as well.

Low Gross & Low Net - 50 points
Low Gross 1 & Low Net 1 - 40 points
Low Gross 2 & Low Net 2 - 35 points
Low Gross 3 & Low Net 3 - 30 points
Low Gross 4 & Low Net 4 - 25 points
Low Gross 5 & Low Net 5 - 20 points
Low Gross 6 & Low Net 6 - 15 points
Low Gross 7 & Low Net 7 - 10 points
Low Gross 8 & Low Net 8 - 5 point

Situations of a tied Overall Low Gross/Low Net Scores the POINTS will be divided - view exampled chart.

Note: To over-come monotony on stroke play golf tournaments, StableFord points scoring would be introduced occasionally as winners of the Trophies (subjected to organizing committee discretion).
